National Young Savers Month – Treasure Chest Giveaway
1. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT AT LEGENCE BANK. UTILIZING ANY OTHER BANK SERVICES OR PRODUCTS WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
2. How to Enter: If you deposit money into your Young Savers Account or open a new Young Savers Account with Legence Bank starting April 1, 2026 at 12:01am, through April 30, 2026, at 11:59pm, you will be automatically entered in the contest for a chance at the $100 deposit into your youth savings account. You do not need to fill out any additional forms, nor will any additional forms be sent to you.
a. If you do not wish to receive one automatic entry when opening a Young Savers Account or depositing money into your current Young Savers Account between April 1, 2026, and April 30, 2026, you must mail us at Marketing Contest/Do Not Enter, Legence Bank, PO Box 569, Eldorado, IL 62930 or email us at [email protected] and instruct us to not enter you.
b. If you are not a customer of the bank and desire to enter the National Young Savers Treasure Chest Giveaway with Legence Bank, email your name, address, and telephone number to [email protected]. Limit one entry per household. Entry must be received by 5:00pm central time on April 30, 2026.
c. Participants agree not to hold Legence Bank, their employees, and/or their affiliates responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected email communication.
3. Odds of Winning: Odds of winning are based upon the number of entries.
4. Contest Period: The contest period runs from 12:01am central time on April 1, 2026 until 11:59pm central time on April 30, 2026.
5. Eligibility: To be eligible for the contest, you must be a lawful permanent resident of the United States. If the entrant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must be present to open the account and must sign all required account documentation on the minor’s behalf at the time of entry. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Any winning entry will be deemed to have been made by the individual named on the Legence Bank account record.
6. Prize: Legence Bank will randomly select a winner of $100 from all entries received from April 1, 2026, at 12:01am through April 30, 2026 at 11:59pm. Legence Bank reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations relative to the contest and/or the redemption of the Prizes. All decisions are final and binding. Neither Legence Bank, nor its employees, partners, and affiliates, are responsible for and shall not be liable for late, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner. We will hold the drawing on May 4, 2026. Winner must claim prize in person within 14 days of drawing and sign release form provided by Legence Bank.
***Tax Issues: Legence Bank will report the value of the prize to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. The winner is responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prize.
7. Winner Selection: The prize winner will be selected by Legence Bank. All decisions will be final. The winner does not need to be present and will be notified by phone and/or email. The prize is non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable. Prize must be claimed in person within 14 days of drawing.
8. Liability/General Rules: Legence Bank is not responsible for any loss that may occur in connection with the contest. The winner agree to hold Legence Bank harmless from any liability arising from participating in the contest or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of the prize. Legence Bank and each of its officers, directors, employees, customers and representatives and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of entrants and/or the winner arising from, or in connection with acceptance, receipt, or possession, or use/misuse of prizes awarded or participation in the contest. Legence Bank is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the contest.
a. Furthermore, if there is any suspected evidence of tampering, hacking or interference with equipment or programming associated with the contest beyond the control of Legence Bank and their partners which corrupts or impairs the administration, security or fairness of the contest, Legence Bank reserves the right to disqualify any entrant deemed responsible for such corruption, suspend and/or terminate the contest and select a winner from the entries received up to the time of such termination or suspension. 9. Consent to Publicity and Release: By accepting a prize, the winner consents to permit Legence Bank to utilize his/her name and likeness in promotional and other bank materials, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. All entrants agree to release and hold harmless Legence Bank, its partners, employees, agents, representatives and affiliated companies of any and all claims of any kind arising directly or indirectly from this contest, any contest prize or from any publicity about the contest.
10. Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Legence Bank in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
