Our Hiring Process

Legence Bank and American Farm Mortgage & Financial Services are financial institutions with a structured hiring process. Our corporate office is located at 1200 US Highway 45 in Eldorado IL. Whenever we accept applications outside of the bank, we advertise in local newspapers and through online websites. We may post at universities and job placement offices. Jobs are posted on our website as well.

We will advertise a date for application screening to begin and will accept applications until the position is filled. Once the screening deadline has passed, management staff will begin reviewing applications for qualifications and experience and select candidates for interviews. When interviews, reference checks, and in some cases, job-related skills testing occurs, a recommendation regarding hiring the candidate best suited to the position is made to the CEO. Once a vacancy has been filled, the status of the opening will be noted on our website and no further action will be taken on other submitted applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Establish, expand and maintain customer relationships by providing above and beyond service, focused on the specific needs of each individual and business banking customer. Through utilization of the 7-Step Sales Process and Hoopla Standards, team members will build long-lasting relationships while ensuring that we serve as the customer’s primary bank. They will promote the full range of the Bank's deposit products and lending services, referring individuals to the appropriate team member when necessary.

The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing commercial loan customers, including cross-selling new loans, products and services, and analyzing loan requests for the existing customer base, as well as from referrals and prospects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Post-Closing Specialist maintains the document imaging system for the loan department. They ensure that the document imaging system is accessible to internal and external loan review. They work with lenders, agents, and BDOs to satisfy outstanding exceptions on the exception report.

The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for preparing real estate loans to ensure that they are initiated in conformance with TRID guidelines. They initiate and maintain professional and courteous contact with customers, both internal and external.

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the day to day loan servicing activities and has knowledge of various functional areas across the loan servicing area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Loan Processing Specialist is responsible for accepting applications from loan officers and loan assistants, preparing and reviewing loan files for completeness, as well as preparing files for processing within established timelines.



Essential Functions

    1. Maintain Confidentiality of customer information.
    2. Build loan profile in LaserPro and develop all required documents in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
    3. Address customer and team inquiries in relation to payoffs, interest, payments, and past dues.
    4. Complete all assigned meetings.
    5. Address credit bureau disputes, recognizing any set deadlines.
    6. Prepare adverse action notices as needed, recognizing any set deadlines.
    7. Assist with completing HMDA check back.
    8. Serve as a backup for the Loan Servicing Specialist.
    9. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic.
    10. Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team member as well as to our customers.
    11. Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events.
